ABC has announced The Mole's fifth season -- the show's first non-celebrity edition in six years -- will premiere Monday, May 26 at 10PM ET/PT.

The Mole's revival will follow the show's original format, with a group of 12 contestants competing in new missions at new locations while trying to determine who among them is The Mole -- a saboteur trying to keep them from winning money in the game.
Throughout the competition, the contestants must decide who they think is serving as The Mole and try to learn as much about him or her as possible. At the end of each one-hour episode, the player who knows the least about The Mole will be eliminated from the game.
At the conclusion of The Mole's 10-episode run, the contestant serving as the saboteur will be revealed and one of the final two contestants will win a "substantial cash prize," according to ABC.
Hosted by former Extra weekend anchor Jon Kelley, Stone and Company Entertainment -- the new name of Stone Stanley Entertainment, the production company that produced The Mole's first four seasons -- will produce The Mole's revival.

ABC ordered The Mole's revival in January -- four years after Celebrity Mole Yucatan, the show's most recent installment, had premiered in early 2004.
The Bachelorette's fourth season, which will follow rejected The Bachelor eleventh-season suitor DeAnna Pappas as she whittles down 25 men in an attempt to find true love, will serve as The Mole's lead in, with two-hour episodes airing regularly in the Mondays at 8PM ET/PT time period.
In addition to The Mole's fifth-season premiere and The Bachelorette's fourth-season debut on May 19, ABC also announced premiere dates for six other reality shows the network will air this summer.
Wipeout will premiere on Tuesday, June 24 at 8PM ET/PT; I Survived a Japanese Game Show will premiere on June 24 at 9PM ET/PT; Hopkins will premiere on Thursday, June 26 at 10PM ET/PT; Dance Machine will premiere on Friday, June 27 at 8PM ET/PT; High School Musical: Summer Session will premiere on Sunday, July 20 at 8PM ET/PT; and Wanna Bet will premiere on Monday, July 21 at 9PM ET/PT.
