ABC apparently can't get enough of Shaquille O'Neal.

The network has renewed the 7-foot, 300-plus pound NBA star's Shaq Vs. reality series for a second season, Daily Variety reported Wednesday.
While Shaq Vs.'s first season, which aired last summer, followed O'Neal as he competed against famous athletes in a different sporting event each week, its upcoming second installment will also place him in other competitions such as spelling bees or competitive eating, according to Variety.
ABC has ordered six episodes of the series, which is produced by Media Rights Capital in association with dick clark productions.
"Everyone's happy with the show, and that's been incredibly encouraging," Media Rights Capital executive Modi Wiczyk told Variety.

Production of the series will work around O'Neal's NBA schedule, according to Variety, which added there is already a list of "top-tier" athletes who want to participate in the show.
Shaq Vs. is the second reality series O'Neal has starred in for ABC.
He previously starred in Shaq's Big Challenge -- a Summer 2007 reality series that followed him as he helped transform six obese middle-school students from Florida into healthy kids while also demonstrating how other communities across the country can help fight childhood obesity.
