After casting a doctor, a prince and a military officer as the stars of its last three editions, The Bachelor has decided to hit the bar scene.

ABC has announced that Brad Womack, a 34-year-old Austin, TX bar owner that the network describes as "a successful, self-made entrepreneur," will be the star of this fall's eleventh The Bachelor edition.

According to ABC, Womack -- who the network is billing as "a sincere, sexy, successful self-made man who may be the series' hottest guy yet" -- currently co-owns four "lucrative" bars with his married brothers Chad and Wesley.  But in a potentially ominous omen that invokes flashbacks of former The Bachelor stars like Aaron Buerge, Womack is now "looking to expand into other ventures," including a potential hotel.

Womack was born in Atlanta, GA and lived there until his family moved to Livingston, TX when he was 12 years old.  After graduating high school, Womack enrolled at Southwest Texas State (now known as Texas State University) but dropped out after a year.  Instead, he began working in the petroleum industry's oil fields -- an eight-year journey that took him to Louisiana, North Dakota, California, and all over Texas.

After spending eight years working in the oil fields, Womack began bartending with his twin brother Chad.  Eight months after he began tending bar, Womack and his brothers purchased their first bar.  Womack was 28 years old at the time of the 2001 purchase.  The brothers have since purchased three more bars in the last three years.

However like all of The Bachelor's previous stars, ABC says "one thing" is missing from Womack's life -- the "soul mate... [and] family life he has so long desired."

According to ABC, Womack's single-parent home upbringing instilled "a good work ethic, the importance of a stable family and the ability to be a good provider."  "These strong values, coupled with great looks and undeniable sex appeal, make him the perfect catch," ABC gushed in the network's press release.  And just in case anyone still remains unclear exactly how undeniably sexy Womack apparently is, the network -- two years after it already described eighth-season The Bachelor star Travis Stork as "Vanderbilt Medical Center's own 'Dr. McDreamy'" -- also has another nickname for him: "The Bachelor's own 'McSteamy.'"

The Bachelor's eleventh installment will premiere Monday, September 24 at 9:30PM ET/PT, immediately following the debut of Dancing with the Stars' fifth season.  After three weeks of 90-minute supersized broadcasts, The Bachelor will deflate back into its normal one-hour format and slide into the Mondays at 10PM ET/PT time period.  As in previous The Bachelor editions, Chris Harrison will serve as the show's host.
