ABC's The Bachelor executive Robert Mills has revealed "less than 50" people know the ending of Peter Weber's season, which hasn't leaked out in online spoilers so far.

The identity of The Bachelor star's final bachelorette and whether he is currently engaged to her have yet to be spoiled for viewers, and Peter has been boasting for over a month now people won't be able to figure out the ending.

"I do know [the ending], yes," Robert told Nick Viall during a recent appearance on the former The Bachelor star's The Viall Files podcast.

"It's pretty crazy. I'll say that... This one is pretty cool."

When asked how many people know how Peter's season ended, Robert replied, "Not many. Less than 50, maybe. Something like that."

Robert elaborated, "But it's not people who work on the show. It's the people that spread [the news] to other people... You tell one, especially somebody that then loves to tell people."

Robert then recalled how a person from Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette -- somebody's mother -- loved to go around and talk about what happened.

"It's always the mothers," Robert joked, before Nick compared word-of-mouth circulation to a Los Angeles brush fire.

"It turns into a whole mess," Nick noted.

Peter previously told Entertainment Tonight there is a "specific reason" why he's confident no one is going to be able to spoil the ending of his The Bachelor season, which has left fans speculating Peter's love story didn't conclude with the Final Rose Ceremony.

Nick admitted to Robert on his podcast he's "fascinated" no one really knows how The Bachelor is going to play out.

"It's wild that Peter is saying this with confidence, because when Peter says this, my first reaction is, 'Oh, what a young pup who doesn't realize how [it works].' But no one seems to know!" Nick said.

"No one knows, and the thing for him is that he stayed very tight-lipped about everything," Robert said.

"I think it's just important to him that everybody," Robert began.

"I could tell!" Nick interjected.

"When I saw him -- I've said this before -- most leads want to tell, like, 'I need to tell someone. Can I tell you? You're in the group; you're in the club,' so to speak, you know? And I'll be like, 'Sure, you want to tell me? I don't care?'"

"Peter was like, 'Nope.'"

"Not saying anything," Robert added.

Robert said "spoilers" are "irritating" for producers because they tend to diminish, or even kill, the reaction from viewers once they watch a show's finale.

Robert recalled The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss sharing his fond memory of how people attending a viewing party "erupted" into cheers and applause when Trista Rehn picked Ryan Sutter on The Bachelorette's very first season, mainly because the outcome had not been spoiled.

Robert said finales lack excitement for fans if they already know what's going to happen and compared The Bachelor and The Bachelorette finales to "a sporting event."

"When you have the After the Final Rose and your showing these scenes to the audience in there and they start cheering and everything, it's awesome. It's great," Robert explained.

"So when you have the element of surprise, it's really great," Robert pointed out.

"I'm excited for this. This is going to be a great event for all of us. We're all going to love it."

Nick said he's actually enjoying being in the dark when it comes to how Peter's season is going to play out on TV.

"I am enjoying being spoiler-free. I've tried to be spoiler-free in the past," Nick said. "I truly have no idea [how Peter's season ends]."

Nick continued, "Even when I was texting Peter, he's like, 'Who do you think I pick?!' And I'm like, 'I'm going to be honest: I'm afraid to give you my [answer] because I don't know and I don't want to offend or say anything or give an opinion with a critical eye, because I don't know.'"

"And it's fun to watch it," Nick added.

Robert also recently told Variety he's "thrilled" with how Peter's season "turned out."

"There is so much drama and laughs and tears. The locations are great, the dates are great," Robert said.

"The last three seasons, what we learned is that the season is not really ever done. We wrapped filming and yes, technically we're done, but we're not really done because they're living their real life, so it doesn't really end until the finale airs. You never know what's going to happen."
