ABC executive Robert Mills has revealed he's overjoyed with how Peter Weber's uber-dramatic The Bachelor season turned out but also teased the pilot's love story is still playing out in the real world.

"I am thrilled with how the season turned out," ABC reality chief Robert Mills recently told Variety in an interview.

"There is so much drama and laughs and tears. The locations are great, the dates are great."

Robert said Peter was a "phenomenal Bachelor" overall because he was both "charming" and "funny."

"This is just a season where a guy is really looking for his soul mate, which leads to probably one of the most dramatic seasons we've ever had," ABC's reality chief shared.

"All of these women love him. Peter was definitely one of those guys where he wants to fall in love and he wants to find his wife, and he was open to all of them."

Peter's winning bachelorette and whether he got engaged at the end of filming The Bachelor's 24th season has yet to be spoiled by online spoilers, and Peter has been boasting for over a month now people won't be able to figure out the ending.

Peter previously told Entertainment Tonight there is a "specific reason" why he's confident no one is going to be able to spoil the details, which has left fans speculating Peter's love story didn't conclude with the Final Rose Ceremony.

"The last three seasons, what we learned is that the season is not really ever done," Robert explained when addressing such speculation.

"We wrapped filming and yes, technically we're done, but we're not really done because they're living their real life, so it doesn't really end until the finale airs. You never know what's going to happen."

While Hannah Brown, for instance, got engaged to aspiring country singer Jed Wyatt during the taped portion of The Bachelorette's fifteenth season, she revealed on After the Final Rose she had dumped Jed five weeks after their engagement because he had lied about the extent of a relationship he was in prior to competing for Hannah's heart.

"Last season when we spoke ahead of Hannah's season, I would have said it is a really great ending and she's very happy -- because at that point, she was very happy with Jed," Robert reasoned.

"With [Colton Underwood]'s season, we knew once he jumped the fence [that] this was a weird season. But with this one, this is a season that has a ton of twists and turns."

Robert said of Peter's season, "You never know what might happen between now and when the finale ends in March... [but] I would definitely say he's happy."

Robert apparently believes Peter's The Bachelor edition was a fantastic extension of Colton and Hannah's back-to-back seasons.

"This is the first time, in a long time, where it feels like all of the seasons recently have been really good -- it feels like one built off of another, and it feels like it's been more in the consciousness than ever," Robert shared.

"Colton was really strong, and then Hannah really took the baton and made it even bigger, and then based on that, with Peter, it feels like a sequel that everyone is excited to see."

Robert suggested Bachelor Nation and fans everywhere are in for a wild ride as Peter's season continues to air on ABC.

"I will say that when you get to the hometown dates, there is something you have never seen before. This is a hometown date that is one that you've never seen. And the meet-the-family dates at the end is unlike anything we've ever seen," Robert told Variety.

"So there's a lot of new stuff that you'll see this season."

Peter told Us Weekly last month he's a better, more resilient man after his journey on the show.

"I would say I learned that I'm a lot stronger than I thought I was because I go through a lot and I'm put through a lot and I come out the end," Peter said.

The Bachelor is airing a two-night event this week on Monday night at 8PM ET/PT and Wednesday night at the same time on ABC. However, Monday night's broadcast will be a supersized three-hour episode.
