Adam Levine got ambushed by a fan at a Maroon 5 concert but handled the situation like a pro.

During his Monday concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim, a screaming female fan ran up onstage to give Levine a hug mid-performance.

At first, a startled Levine pushed his arm out to keep the girl back until he realized her intent. As shown on multiple videos fans took from the audience, Levine then wrapped his arm around the young woman and led her to a security guard who subsequently escorted her off the stage.

"It's just weird to be, like, in the moment, ya know?" Levine explained to the crowd. "You're singing, and your eyes are closed, and you have this beautiful moment. And then the next thing you know, someone's f-cking in your face. It's super terrifying -- just because I wasn't expecting it."

Levine then revealed the woman had accidentally cut his ear with her finger nail. However, he wasn't really phased by the injury and just said "it's all good" before continuing the show.

Maroon 5's concert last night marked the last date of the band's North American tour.

Levine is a mainstay coach on The Voice along with Blake Shelton. The reality singing competition's currently-airing eighth season also stars Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera.
