Offers for Al Sharpton to appear on reality television are apparently rolling in, however he has no interest.

Sharpton claims he received offers to appear on ABC's Dancing with the Stars and NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice but decided against doing both to instead focus on the upcoming presidential election, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

"This is a serious election," he told the Daily News. "I don't want to be dancing with the stars when I should be protecting the vote."

Dancing with the Stars seventh season will debut on Monday, September 22 at 8PM ET/PT.

Among those rumored as possible celebrity participants are Keeping Up with the Kardashians starlet Kim Kardashian and former N' Sync member Lance Bass.  In addition, former American Idol fifth-season finalist Kellie Pickler and even Idol judge Paula Abdul have both expressed interest.

The Celebrity Apprentice's second season is currently slated to film this fall and air as part of NBC's midseason primetime programming lineup.  Earlier this month, Joan Rivers stated she "will be on" The Celebrity Apprentice.

Additional names The New York Post previously reported are being "bandied about" as The Celebrity Apprentice second-season contestants are former Dancing with the Stars fourth-season participant Heather Mills, Celebrity Mole Yucatan winner Dennis Rodman, Tony Danza and Kardashian.
