Alex is a 26-year-old U.S. Marine and Florida native now living in Del Mar, CA. The 5'7" bachelor caught JoJo Fletcher's attention right off the bat with his buff physique, and then Alex impressed her by doing push-ups at the cocktail party while she sat on his back.

While Alex might've thought he was a bigshot, the other guys made fun of him for trying too hard. However, he received a rose from Fletcher at the season's first Rose Ceremony.

As shown in a preview for The Bachelorette's upcoming May 30 episode, Alex is a bit of a hothead and gets into an altercation with Chad Johnson, who will seemingly emerge as quite the villain this season.
