"I just called the place where I got my tests done to get an update and they basically said that the lab that does the tests called them to say it's going to be two weeks for cases," Ali, 35, said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, March 17.
"Which is, like, how are we supposed to stop this thing if it's two weeks to get results?"
Ali added she doesn't understand why some test results take much longer to come back than others.
"I watch the news and all the people talking are saying they took the test and got the results that night. Like, where is the disconnect here?" Ali vented in her video.
"How can some people get results night of, how come some have to wait two weeks, and then how come some people can't get them at all? It's so crazy."
Ali had said she received the "intense" and "not pleasant" coronavirus test -- which included tubes being stuck up both of her nostrils multiple times, causing her to "tear up" -- to be safe because she was experiencing a tightness in her chest in which it hurt to take deep breaths.
Ali also reportedly felt really rundown and had chills.
Ali was initially told she would get her results from 48 hours to three weeks.
"Hopefully that's not the case," she said on Instagram earlier this week, "because if that is the case, our healthcare system is totally messed up."

The coronavirus outbreak has led major cities, including Massachusetts and New York City, to shut down restaurants, bars and schools as the number of confirmed cases rises.
Ali previously begged people to take the virus and recommended precautions seriously.
"Do not go out," she told her Instagram followers, according to Us Weekly.
"Don't go out to restaurants and bars, self-quarantine if you can. Social distance. Just please, please, please take this seriously and, of course, wash your hands."
The coronavirus pandemic has also affected production schedules of dozens of television shows, including The Bachelorette, Survivor and The Amazing Race.
Ali and Kevin got engaged in early September 2015 after the couple had been dating for a little over two years.
Ali and Kevin welcomed Molly in July 2016 and then tied the knot in March 2017. Ali gave birth to Riley in May 2018.
Her season of The Bachelorette aired in 2010 and ended with the blonde beauty getting engaged to Roberto Martinez in the Season 6 finale; however, the pair split in November 2011.

"Can you imagine how different my life would be if I had ended up with the person I chose on the Bachelorette?! It's surreal to think about," Ali captioned two photos of her kids on Instagram last week.
"I wouldn't have these two munchkins in my life (or my amazing husband) who are my entire world!... Everything will work out just the way it is supposed to be. Because there's no doubt in my mind that I was supposed to be Molly and Riley's mom (and Kevin's wife!)"
