Amanda Stanton has confirmed her engagement to Josh Murray has been called off and they've split.

"Josh and I did break up," Stanton, 26, told People at The Bachelor Charity Premiere Party in Los Angeles on Monday.
"I know there's been a lot of speculation about our relationship and to be honest, I think some people thought I was avoiding it. I think it's good to set the record straight and tell everyone that we're not together anymore. I just didn't really know how to go about it."
Stanton spent New Year's Eve alone. She tweeted on December 31, "NYE plans: drink tea in my pajamas while wearing a hydrating facial mask & wake up in 2017 feeling like a million bucks."
Stanton and Murray fell in love and got engaged on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise this past summer. They reportedly split after a fight at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball concert last month.
However, the mother of two young girls Kinsley, 4, and Charlie, 2, declined to reveal why her romance with Murray didn't work post-Paradise.
"There was a lot of different reasons [we called off our engagement]," Stanton said. "At the end of the day, we were just two very different people."
Stanton's admission sounds eerily similar to why Murray and his ex-fiancee, former The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman, split in January 2015 after eight months together. Both individuals had expressed that despite being in love, they were too different to get along. Dorfman noted at the time their alpha-like personalities clashed.
(Dorfman later released a memoir in May 2016 accusing Murray of being verbally abusive, controlling and temperamental in their relationship, which worried Stanton's friends on Bachelor in Paradise despite Murray calling it all "fiction").
"I think there are some things when you love someone you can work on and try to fix things, and then there are some things you just can't fix," Stanton told People. "I think it got to that point where we just knew it wasn't going to work."
Stanton confessed she is not currently on speaking terms with Murray.
"We're just going to go our separate ways," said the former The Bachelor bachelorette, who previously vied for Ben Higgins' heart. "I wish him the best."

Murray had also shared a since-deleted photo of his bags packed in the car when he allegedly moved out of Stanton's Orange County, CA, home and headed back to Atlanta, GA.
On December 17, Stanton also tweeted, "Never mistake someone's kindness for weakness."
