Amanda Stanton's ex-husband Nick Buonfiglio is taking her back to court for a custody and child-support battle because he believes her reality TV involvement is "causing harm" to their two young daughters.

Buonfiglio filed court documents to make his custody arrangement with Stanton 50/50 -- with a reduction in child support to match -- since her "lifestyle and income have dramatically changed" due to her newfound fame, RadarOnline reported.

Four days before Stanton and her Bachelor in Paradise co-star Josh Murray announced their engagement on television September 6, Buonfiglio filed paperwork in court to gain more than 35% custody of Kinsley, 4, and Charlie, 2, as Stanton currently has them 65% of the time.

In the paperwork, Buonfiglio ripped Stanton for appearing on "multiple TV shows," claiming she has "been scrutinized for how she has acted by hundreds of thousands of fans, and it has put my daughters in tons of media attention, which I believe is causing harm," according to the website.

Stanton's journey with The Bachelor franchise began when she competed for Ben Higgins on Season 20 of The Bachelor earlier this year. Kinsley and Charlie were, in fact, filmed during Stanton's California hometown date. After Higgins -- and the rest of the world -- met the little girls, he brutally dumped the single mom.

In addition to Stanton's lifestyle allegedly "causing harm" to Kinsley and Charlie, Buonfiglio is claiming he's paying more child support than he should for a couple of different reasons.

Buonfiglio wrote in the court documents obtained by RadarOnline, "[She is now] making well over $20,000 to $30,000 per month," including $5,000 per sponsored social media post, compared to the $100 annual income she reportedly claimed when the former couple's current agreement was reached.

Buonfiglio has allegedly been giving Stanton $2,000 per month in child support, which he doesn't think is fair considering he's taken on a lot more responsibility in recent months.

"I am having trouble living giving $2000 [per] month," he claimed in the paperwork, while "the time I have with the kids has increased to almost 50/50."

Buonfiglio took care of his daughters for a significant period of time when Stanton filmed the third season of Bachelor in Paradise from June 4 to June 20. The couple's arrangement, however, only gives Buonfiglio one night a week and every other weekend with Kinsley and Charlie.

When Buonfiglio asked Stanton to adjust their schedule and payment plan for his benefit, "She said, 'Take me to court if you want more time.' Which I am doing."

Stanton, whose divorce from Buonfiglio was finalized in June 2015, has yet to comment on the matter. However, the pair is reportedly scheduled to meet for a mediation session on September 30. If they can't solidify a deal at that time, Stanton and her ex-husband must attend a court hearing on October 13.

Murray is currently living with Stanton and her two girls in her California apartment. The couple insists they've been happily engaged for the last several months.
