Amanda Stanton on Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor has captured the attention -- and potentially the heart -- of Bachelor in Paradise alum JJ Lane.

Lane, a villain-turned-hero in the ABC reality dating franchise, admitted he's totally interested in the sweet, single mom, the New York Post reported.

When asked whether he'll be competing on the upcoming third season of Bachelor in Paradise, Lane told the Post of Stanton, "I want to know that girl."

Lane continued, "I would go only for one reason. I would walk the f-ck away if Amanda wasn't there."

If dating Stanton, 25, on Bachelor in Paradise isn't an option, Lane would consider himself "retired."

"Once you go on a TV show, it's so hard to fall in love because nobody is genuine and it's very hard to trust anyone," he said.

Stanton is a beautiful esthetician and divorced mother of two little girls. She comes across as kind, sensitive and genuine on Season 20 of The Bachelor. In fact, Higgins will be shown visiting her hometown on the February 22 episode, along with the hometowns of three other bachelorettes still in the running for his heart.

But if Higgins eliminates Stanton, it would be difficult for Lane to pursue her in the real world. The 31-year-old dad of one lives in Denver, CO, while Stanton currently resides in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.

Lane first competed on Kaitlyn Bristowe's edition of The Bachelorette but was quickly dubbed "a villain" because of his outspoken, cocky nature and strange bromance with Clint Arlis.

Once he appeared on Bachelor in Paradise last summer, Lane stood up for his friends who were girls and received the hero edit.  Although he didn't leave the show with love, Lane confessed to the Post his complimentary portrayal has at least gotten him laid a lot since the show.
