America's Got Talent revealed the second group of seven thirteenth-season semifinalist acts following Tuesday night's broadcast in which 12 quarterfinalist acts performed for the judges and home viewer votes.

Noah Guthrie, Voices of Hope Children's Choir, Glennis Grace, Samuel J. Comroe, and Duo Transcend were revealed to have finished as the Top 5 votegetters following Tuesday night's performance show, automatically earning them a spot in the next round of America's Got Talent.

The four lowest votegetters, who were immediately sent packing, were Yumbo Dump, Quinn and Misha, The Savitsky Cats, and The Sacred Riana.

The three remaining acts -- Da Republik, Front Pictures, and Makayla Phillips -- finished in sixth, seventh or eighth place, and were therefore at the mercy of America's live vote and the judges.

Judge Howie Mandel called the results "crazy" and said it was like "a bad joke" because all three acts are incredibly talented.

The "Dunkin' Save," which allows home viewers a 30-minute window to vote for their favorite act, eventually saved Makayla from elimination.

In addition to Howie, America's Got Talent judges Heidi Klum, Melanie "Mel B" Brown, and Simon Cowell then had to determine whether they'd like Da Republik or Front Pictures to move forward in the competition.

Heidi admitted this is "the worst part of the show," especially since they were both "fantastic," but Heidi went with her gut and voted for Da Republik to advance.

Mel B said Front Pictures was "brilliant" but Da Republik "wowed" her every time they took the stage. With that being said, Mel B wanted to see Da Republik go through.

Howie then explained Da Republik dances with such passion but Front Pictures brings new technology and ingenuity to the table. It was comparing apples and oranges, but Howie picked Front Pictures.

The vote was therefore in Simon's hands, as he could tie up the vote or immediately advance Da Republik.

"Front Pictures did something extraordinary. The technology was amazing, incredible. [Da Republik] brings personality, but I'm not going to say this was your best performance, because it wasn't," Simon explained.

"But I do love your passion and your enthusiasm, so I'm going to weigh this up between the technology and the personality, and I'm going to go with personality -- Da Republik."

America's Got Talent will return Tuesday, August 28 with another set of 12 quarterfinalists competing for one of seven spot in the Season 13 semifinals.
