American Military Spouses Choir, Jonathan Allen and Kenichi Ebina were revealed to have finished as the Top 3 vote-getters after Tuesday night's performance show which featured the season's third group of 12 quarterfinalists performing for home viewer votes, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent's eighth-season semifinals.

Aerosphere Aerial Balloon Show, Brandon & Savannah, David "The Cobra Kid" Weathers, Deanna Dellacioppa, Illusionist Leon Etienne and Romy Low, Jim Meskimen, and Kelsey and Bailey had received the seven lowest home viewer vote totals.

The announcements then left America's Got Talent judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Melanie "Mel B" Brown, and Howard Stern with the task of deciding which of the two acts that had received the fourth and fifth highest vote totals -- Chicago Boyz and Mitsi Dancing School -- should become the fourth act to advance to the semifinals.

"Mitsi dance, every time you perform, it's always beautiful to watch. The arms, your costumes, such precision and very graceful. Chicago Boyz, you put your heart and soul into this every time you come onstage. These acts are so different. That's what makes it difficult. What does America want to see again? And now, since I'm having to make the decision, I have to say, [Nick Cannon], for me, this is a really obvious decision and an easy one for me -- Chicago Boyz," Mel B. explained.

"Actually, there's something that both of these acts share. They both rely on precision, and both acts last night were spot on, really spot on. Mitsi Dancing School is amazing. When you watch that back on TV and you see those thousand hands going, it is spectacular," Howard began.

"The Chicago Boyz have been fantastic every time I've seen them. What it comes down to for me is, quite simply, who do I want to see again? Who do I get most excited about when they take to the stage? Who really turns me on?... It's the Chicago Boyz for me as well."

After explaining how he hoped America wasn't just connecting with the Chicago Boyz because one of its performers had broken his leg in an accident, Howie noted, "I have to go with my gut. My gut tells me the most exciting show, the best moment, was the Chicago Boyz."

The judges' decision was unanimous, so Chicago Boyz were selected to advance.

Next week's America's Got Talent broadcast will feature the next set of 12 acts performing: 3Penny Chorus and Orchestra, The Robotix, Aerial Ice, Cami Bradley, David Ferman, Jimmy Rose, Champions Forever, Sensetion, Taylor Williamson, Timber Brown, Chloe Channell, and Tummy Talk.
