America's Got Talent revealed its second set of four eighth-season semifinalist acts during Wednesday night's live broadcast of the NBC reality competition series.

Innovative Force, Marty Brown and Forte were revealed to have finished as the Top 3 vote-getters after Tuesday night's performance show which featured the season's second group of 12 quarterfinalists performing for home viewer votes, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent's eighth-season semifinals.
America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon also revealed that Struck Boyz, Brad Byers, Ciana Pelekai, Aquanuts, Alexandr Magala, Kid the Wiz, and Dave Shirley had received the seven lowest home viewer vote totals.
The announcements then left America's Got Talent judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Melanie "Mel B" Brown, and Howard Stern with the task of deciding which of the two acts that had received the fourth and fifth highest vote totals -- Angela Hoover or Tone the Chiefrocca -- should become the fourth act to advance to the semifinals.
"Angela, I really like you. I don't think, personally, that your material was as strong as it should've been. I feel like the first time I met you was stronger. And I just really like some 'b-double o-t-y!' I do! For me, it's the boys. It's 'b-double o-t-y.' I like the one-hit wonder! I want to hear it again," Heidi explained.

"See, I like both these acts. You know, 'b-double o-t-y,' You're a lot of fun, but how far can you actually take that song? And Angela, I've liked you from Day 1. And I disagree, I do think that you're very funny. And I disagree with Howard too. I liked your material and I liked your performance. So, Angela, you're my girl," Mel B. announced.
"Okay I've got to go with my gut and my gut tells me this. You both had the same problem last night. Angela, I believe you didn't have material. I believe you're very talented, you're beautiful, you've got great voices -- you didn't have material," Howie began.
"Tone, you don't have material, but that's what you're going for! You just have one song, and you know what? The thing is, Angela, you can get material, but I have to go on what I saw last night. There were some laughs but not enough. I believe that you brought something to last night. I believe it hit the mark it needed to hit. I'd love to hear you come back and do that symphonically with a big orchestra, classically. 'B-double o-t-y,' that's who I'm going with!"
It then became time for Howard to voice his opinion, and if he voted to keep Tone the Chiefrocca in the competition, Angela Hoover would be eliminated.
"Alright, this is a tough one. I think these are two interesting acts. Angela right now thinks I hate her. Last night, I told her that she bombed. I was very critical. 'B-double o-t-y,' is always a crowd-pleaser. But I got to tell you, for me, 'b-double o-t-y' really has done their thing. I think we've seen the best of 'b-double o-t-y.' I think we get it. They're a one-hit wonder. It's a joke. We've seen that," Howard explained.

"There's something about Angela that tells me that when she steps out on the stage, something exciting could happen. For God sakes, if I do put you through, get yourself some help writing. You do have talent. You have a great look. You could be a huge star and take this thing if you could pull your act together. I'm more excited about seeing the potential of you walking out on the stage rather than 'b-double o-t-y.' I have to tell you, from the bottom of my heart, I am going with Angela. I don't care what [the other judges] have to say."
Because the judges forced a 2-2 tie, the act who received the greater number of home viewer votes would get to advance, and that person was Angela Hoover.
Next week's America's Got Talent broadcast will feature the next set of 12 acts performing: Chicago Boyz, Deanna Dellacioppa, Mitsi Dancing School, Brandon & Savannah, Aerosphere Aerial Balloon Show, Jim Meskimen, Kenichi Ebina, Kelsey and Bailey, American Military Spouses Choir, Illusionist Leon Etienne and Romy Low, David "The Cobra Kid" Weathers, and Jonathan Allen.
