America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon also revealed that Ulysses, a singer and impersonator from Statesville, NC; David "The Bullet" Smith, a human cannonball from Englewood, FL; Unity In Motion, a contortion troupe from Cape May, NJ; Sebastien "El Charro de Oro," a young mariachi singer from San Antonio, TX; Eric and Olivia, an acoustic duo from Austin, TX; Horse, a daredevil from Harrisburg, PA; and Lindsey Norton, a solo dancer from Tampa, FL, had received the seven lowest home viewer vote totals.
The announcements then left America's Got Talent judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Howard Stern with the task of deciding which of the two acts that had received the fourth and fifth highest vote totals -- All That!, a male clogging group from Myrtle Beach, SC, or Eric Dittelman, a magician, comedian and mind reader from Boston, MA -- should become the fourth act to advance to the semifinals.
Howie voted first to send Eric Dittelman through to the next round. Sharon spoke her piece next and voted to keep All That! in the competition. Howard was then left with the determining tie-breaker vote, ultimately deciding Eric Dittelman should be the act to advance.
However, Sharon had an announcement to make shortly after Dittelman learned he'd be moving on in the competition.
"There's a Wild Card show coming up very soon and the judges get to pick who goes on. My first pick, I want All That!" she explained.
Due to the Olympics, America's Got Talent's next broadcast will take place in three weeks on Tuesday, August 14 and feature selected YouTube acts performing.
