Christian Stoinev, a 22-year-old hand balancer and dog act; Paul Ieti, a 21-year-old singer from Savannah, GA; Blue Journey, an innovative dance duet featuring video projection and animation; and The Sons of Serendip, a musical group of four friends, were revealed to have finished as the Top 4 vote-getters after Tuesday night's performance show, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent's ninth-season semifinals.
Tuesday night's episode had featured the season's third group of 12 quarterfinalist acts performing for home viewer votes.
America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon also revealed that male dancers Dragon House "The Agents," singer Anna Clendening, brothers and musical storytellers Kieran and Finian Makepeace, pianist Adrian Romoff, stand-up comedian Wendy Liebman, and dance team Cornell Bhangra had received the six lowest home viewer vote totals.
The announcements then left America's Got Talent judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Melanie "Mel B" Brown, and Howard Stern with the task of deciding which of the two acts that had received the fifth and sixth highest vote totals -- Mike "Mystifier" Super, a magician, entertainer and supernaturalist from Pittsburgh, PA, and AcroArmy, a group of acrobatic gymnastics -- should become the fifth act to advance to the semifinals.

Heidi voted for AcroArmy, Howie voted to advance Mike, Mel B. cast her vote for AcroArmy, and then Howard sealed the deal by voting for AcroArmy to move on to the semifinals. Therefore, Mike was also eliminated from the competition.
Next week's Tuesday night broadcast will feature the remaining 12 quarterfinalist acts showing off their skills. The acts who will be performing are Bad Boys of Ballet, Kelli Glover, Dom the Bom's Triple Threat, Emil and Dariel, Nina Burri, Quintavious Johnson, Extreme Dance Company, Jonah Smith, Mothmen Dance, Jonatan Riquelme, Tomas "Smoothini" de la Cruz, and One Voice Children's Choir.
