Jacob Williams, a comedian from Chicago, IL; Lightwire Theater, an electroluminescent puppet show from New Orleans, LA; and The Untouchables, a child dance act from Fort Lauderdale, FL, were revealed to have finished as the Top 3 vote-getters after Tuesday night's performance show which featured the season's third group of 12 quarterfinalists performing for home viewer votes, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent's seventh-season semifinals.
America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon also revealed that Rock Star Juggler Mike Price, a juggler from Las Vegas, NV; Cristin Sandu, a balancing act from Las Vegas, NV; Inspire the Fire, a hip-hop choir from Charlotte, NC; All Beef Patty, a drag queen from Brooklyn, NY; Elusive, a B-Boy dancer from Austin, TX; Jake Wesley Rogers, a singer and guitarist from Ozark, MO; and Spencer Horsman, an escape artist from Baltimore, MD, had received the seven lowest home viewer vote totals.
The announcements then left America's Got Talent judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Howard Stern with the task of deciding which of the two acts that had received the fourth and fifth highest vote totals -- All Wheel Sports, a bike dance variety act from Los Angeles, CA, or Wordspit and the Illest!, a musical band from New York, NY -- should become the fourth act to advance to the semifinals.
Howard voted first to send Wordspit and the Illest! through to the next round. Howie spoke his piece next and voted to keep All Wheel Sports in the competition. Sharon was then left with the determining tie-breaker vote, ultimately deciding All Wheel Sports should be the act to advance.
