Mat Franco, who won the ninth season of America's Got Talent, will be starring in a pair of his own primetime television specials.

Once in Las Vegas, the broadcasts will feature Franco learning what it takes to put on a high-profile show, as he'll become a headlining act at the LINQ Hotel & Casino.
"Mat displayed remarkable skill in winning the most recent season of America's Got Talent, and we're thrilled that these specials will document his new journey opening a show in Las Vegas," NBC reality chief Paul Telegdy said in a statement.
"I grew up watching magic specials on NBC," Franco added, "so this opportunity is just so exciting and beyond my craziest dreams. I'm thrilled and honored to have the chance to bring magic back to primetime major network television."
Franco is the only magician to ever win America's Got Talent. He's almost entirely self-taught and began practicing before the age of 10. He is known for his improvisational skills as well as his performance humor.
Mat Franco's Got Magic is being produced by FremantleMedia North America and Syco Entertainment with Thom Beers, Toby Gorman and Sean Hancock serving as executive producers.
