"I don't think it's the end. It's just the beginning of my career. I just starting modeling, so I'm happy I got all those votes from the people I don't know. (Laughs) I'm not going to give up," Jessie said following her ouster.
However, Jessie quickly learned her Top Model journey wasn't necessarily over yet.
"For the next six weeks, you're going to participate in all the photo shoots against all the other eliminated girls. The girl with the highest average social media score will earn a spot back in the competition. This is your second chance!" fashion blogger Bryanboy, the show's first-ever social media correspondent, told her on her way out.
"Wow!" Jessie replied upon hearing the news.

Jessie, a 5' 9 3/4" 23-year-old student from Speedway, IN attending graduate school at the University of Southern California, was the first girl eliminated from the competition after she found herself in the bottom two alongside Destiny Strudwick, a 5' 8 1/2" 18-year-old sandwich shop cashier from Columbus, OH attending Aveda Institute of Columbus.
Both girls landed in the bottom two based upon their total combined scores from the season's first runway challenge and from the judges and viewers for the season's first photo shoot.
During the runway challenge, the girls had to strut their stuff on a stage utilizing a pole and a giant hanging ring. The contestants learned that for each challenge going forward, the winning girl would receive $10,000 in scholarship money -- an amount which could only be claimed if that particular model was to actually win America's Next Top Model: College Edition.
The first official photo shoot required each of the girls to give the illusion their heads were mounted to a wooden plaque similar to that of a stuffed animal's head as a result of the taxidermy process. Stylist Johnny Wujek served as the girls' creative consultant and 90210 actress Shenae Grimes was their photographer.
America's Next Top Model: College Edition's judges gave Jessie a total of 13 points for the photo shoot. She received four points from Kelly Cutrone, four points from Rob Evans and five points from Tyra Banks. Jessie also earned four points for the challenge in addition to 5.37 points from the fans, making her overall score 22.4.

Leila Goldkuhl, a 5' 11" unemployed 20-year-old student from Framingham, MA attending University of Rhode Island, received the first call-out in Tyra's line of best to the worst scores of the week. She had an overall score of 40.4, including a perfect set of 10's from the three judges.
