"The judges taught me that I'm so young and I have so much to offer in the world and I have to look at the positive side of things. But I'm disappointed that I got cut off so early, because I wanted to do so well. I wanted this really, really badly," Justine said in tears following her ouster.
Justine landed in the bottom two with CoryAnne Roberts, a 19-year-old from Bali, Indonesia -- whose mother, Stephanie Roberts, became famous in the 1990s as a model. Justine was told her photograph was "elementary," while CoryAnne was warned she cannot rely on her mother's "legacy" to get her through the competition.
After learning helpful runway-walk pointers from model Stacey McKenzie and practicing, the 14 girls were required to walk in a fashion runway show the following day and then jump off the stage into a pile of men on the floor. The girls had to strike a pose while nearly crowd surfing on the men's hands.
Actress and former Dancing with the Stars contestant Zendaya Coleman watched the runway show and was allowed to pick a winner. She decided Kyle McCoy, a 23-year-old from Darien, CT, had acted like "a boss" and done the best job, so Zendaya took selfies with Kyle for the contestant to post on her social media accounts in order to gain followers.
When critiquing each girl's final product during the season's first panel, the judges told Justine she looked like she was a "flailing fish in a net" and posed with her legs wide open in every shot. Meanwhile, CoryAnne was told she did a poor job of selling the clothes.
Although Krislian Rodriguez, a 25-year-old from Los Angeles, CA, didn't land in the bottom two, Drew said she was a nightmare to work with at the runway show and photo shoot.
Rita then revealed the contestants' photos from best to worst of the week in the following order: Cody Wells, a 26-year-old from San Jose, CA; Courtney Nelson, a 25-year-old from San Francisco, CA; Giah Hardeman, a 21-year-old from Bryan-College Station, TX; and Marissa Hopkins, an 18-year-old from Houston, TX.
Rita continued to call Tatiana Price, a 21-year-old from Brooklyn, NY; India Gants, a 20-year-old from Seattle, WA; Paige Mobley, a 22-year-old from Birmingham, MI; Binta Dibba, a 25-year-old from Seattle, WA; Tash Wells, a 26-year-old from San Jose, CA; Kyle; Cherish Waters, a 25-year-old from Los Angeles, CA; and finally Krislian.
The announcement left Justine and CoryAnne fighting to stay another week.
