Ava left the show saying she was disappointed in herself because modeling is her dream and she kept getting worse in the competition as the weeks went on. She sadly said in tears she had no one to blame but herself.
This week's episode featured the contestants modeling high-fashion clothing while suspended in the air and trying to look possessed. The models were given bright blue contacts to wear and were pretty much informed the creepier the photo, the better.
The latest challenge required the models to come up with a campaign for Kelly's "Simply Be" brand for "fiercely real curvy girls." The contestants were paired off and required to model their catch phrase with Season 10's winner Whitney Lee Thompson. The winning team was Nyle and Justin with their ad "Simply Be Heard," which was a fun play on words considering Nyle is Top Model's first-ever deaf contestant.
Kelly declared Nyle the sole winner of the challenge, telling him that he'll be featured on the website for "Simply Be."
At panel, Tyra explained the scores this season will be based on a 1-10 score from each judge and then each model's 1-10 challenge score. If there's a tie, the judges will determine which model goes home.
Best photo of the week went to Nyle, who received a 10 from Tyra and Miss J, a 9.7 from Kelly, and a perfect score of 10 from the challenge. His total score was 39.7 points.
Following Nyle, Tyra handed out photos to Lacey with 35 points, Mame with 34.5 points, Hadassah with 33.4 points, Justin with 32.9 points, Devin with 32.7 points, Ashley with 32.2 points, Mikey with 32.1 points, and then Bello with 31.6 points.
Tyra's call-out order left Courtney and Ava in the bottom two.
Courtney received an 8 from Miss J, a 7.5 from Tyra, and an 8.8 from Kelly. She had a total of 31.3 points when adding in her 7 challenge score.
Ava earned 7.2 points from Miss J, 7.7 points from Tyra, and 7.5 points from Kelly. Her total, 29.4, included her challenge score of 7.
The winner of Top Model will receive prizes including $100,000 from Zappos Couture as well as being the face of their national luxury brand re-launch in 2016, a fashion feature in Nylon, and a modeling contract with Next Management.
