Fox's American Idol 4 voted out the tenth of its twelve finalists during last night's results show, with Vonzell Solomon, a 20-year-old from Ft. Myers, FL, being eliminated from the reality talent competition as a result of receiving the fewest of the over 37 million votes that home viewers cast.

Vonzell had entertained the audience by singing "Chain of Fools," "On the Radio" and "I'll Never Love This Way Again." during Tuesday's American Idol 4 performance show.
With her departure, Vonzell becomes the fifth female Idol 4 finalist to be eliminated. Vonzell's elimination means that either Bo Bice, a 29-year-old from Helena, AL, or Carrie Underwood, a 21-year-old from Checotah, OK, will be crowned America's fourth American Idol champion during next week's season finale of the smash hit reality series.
Vonzell joins Anthony Fedorov (Week 9), Scott Savol (Week 8), Constantine Maroulis (Week 7), Anwar F. Robinson (Week 6), Nadia Turner (Week 5), Nikko Smith (Week 4), Jessica Sierra (Week 3), Mikalah Gordon (Week 2), and Lindsey Cardinale (Week 1) as American Idol 4's eliminated finalists.
Viewers will have an expanded opportunity to vote for either Bo or Carrie after next Tuesday's final performance show, with Fox assigning three toll-free voting lines to each finalist and expanding the voting window to four hours. The final performance show's results will be announced during American Idol 4's bloated live two-hour season finale that will air the following night on Wednesday, May 25 at 8PM ET/PT.
