Oklahomans were pulling for their hometown favorite, Carrie Underwood, at Monday's 2006 Country Music Association Awards, where she was up for four honors.

The Oklahoman reported Monday that Underwood, from the small town of Checotah, had no big expectations of winning, however.
"As far as being nominated, I'm obviously very excited about that. My chances? I don't know," she told the newspaper. "I mean, the names on the list are just incredibly talented people, so I'm just glad to be mentioned in the same breath as them.
