The performance will be televised by CBS as part of the game's pre-game festivities, which will also include Queen Latifah singing "America the Beautiful."
Sparks, who won American Idol's sixth season, sang the National Anthem the following February at Super Bowl XLII; while Hudson, an American Idol third-season finalist, sang at last year's Super Bowl.
Hudson's performance later became subject to controversy when the Super Bowl show's producer insisted the former Idol finalist -- who was making her first public performance since her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew had been shot and killed three months earlier -- lip-sync the anthem.
