"We're going on tour from July to September of this year," Studdard announced after performing his new single "Don't Make 'Em Like U No More" during last night's live American Idol ninth-season results show.
"So ya'll come out and check us out. It's called the 'Timeless' tour with Ruben and Clay, so ya'll come out to see it."
"The claymates will be happy," said American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.
"The Ruben fans too," replied Studdard.

The 17-city tour will kick-off July 23 in Asheville, NC and continue over the next few weeks before coming to a close on August 14 in Biloxi, MS.
It will feature Studdard, the American Idol second-season champion, and Aiken, the season's runner-up, performing their own renditions of various hits from the past five decades.
"I couldn't ask for a better tour mate. To be able to share the stage with him again is so exciting," said Aiken in a Thursday statement.
"He is such a talented artist. He inspires me daily and I think that respect and admiration will truly be reflected in our show."
Additional information about the tour is available on both Aiken and Studdard's websites.
