"He inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven," said DeGeneres during Wednesday's broadcast of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"He is my first artist and we are making a record together."
Chance also performed "Broken Hearts" -- a song he wrote and composed -- during the broadcast. He received the $10,000 grand prize for winning the talent search and was also gifted a new piano from Yamaha.
DeGeneres will continue to use her talk show as a platform to find new artists for the label, which she launched in collaboration with Telepictures Productions, USA Today reported.
Earlier this month, Jackson started a dance-music label named DreamMerchant21 and signed former American Idol second-season finalist Kimberly Locke as its first artist.
