Jennifer Lopez has admitted the fact she's always in a relationship isn't an accident.

"I'm one of those people who does not like to be alone," Lopez told reporters attending the Television Critics Association press tour Monday, according to People.
"I have no shame saying that at this point in my life. I think we have to own who we are."
The American Idol judge was previously married to and had divorced Marc Anthony, Ojani Noa and Cris Judd. In between those marriages, she was known for having high-profile relationships with Sean "Diddy" Combs and Ben Affleck, whom she had also been engaged to.
Now that Lopez has been dating Casper Smart, her dancer/choreographer boyfriend of two years, she's unsure whether marriage will be in their future.

"I don't know. We'll see. I don't know," Lopez, 44, reportedly said when asked whether she'd want to walk down the aisle again.
"You know, I've always believed in that institution. I believe in it, but it is difficult. I've had my challenges, but at the same time I believe in love, and I think that is the main thing."
Lopez had served as a judge on American Idol for the show's tenth and eleventh seasons but took the twelfth edition off last year to focus on her music career. During that time off, Lopez traveled for her first world tour with her mother, Smart and her five-year-old twins Emme and Max.
"That was such a transformative year for me in so many ways," Lopez explained, People reported.
"I had just divorced [from Anthony], I went on tour with the kids, and I left Idol. All my security blankets were gone, and I was out there doing something I had never done before."

The singer called Smart -- who is 18 years younger than her -- "fantastic" and was apparently very grateful to have such support from her loved ones.
"I was surrounded by love and family," said Lopez. "I really grew. My goal was not to come out the other side and just survive it but grow as a human being as well as an artist, and I felt I did. I learned a lot."
Lopez will be serving as a judge on American Idol's upcoming thirteenth season alongside Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.
