Jennifer Lopez, who is currently dating Casper Smart, admits she actually likes a little conflict in her romantic relationships as long as there are more ups than downs.

"It's taken me a long time to get to this place, but I've learned that I don't ever want to go against my own integrity in a relationship. If something doesn't feel right to me or makes me feel uncomfortable, I don't want to go along with it -- and sometimes as women we do that. But I won't accept it any more."
Lopez will also no longer accept the desire to be perfect, as she's come to grips with the fact it's okay to let loose a bit on her exercise routine.
"I've got an athletic body, I've worked out my whole life and I've been incredibly disciplined when I needed to be," the 44-year-old singer and actress reportedly explained. "Now I'm just a little bit more relaxed in that area. I feel like this is who I am. But it's also hard to shed that old skin."
However, Lopez reportedly said she can't help being focused on the way she looks.
"Mentally, I'm always thinking about it," she told the magazine. "I'm okay looking this way, but at the same time that very ambitious, determined girl inside me is like, 'Come on, let's be in the best shape ever and really show everybody.' Then the other side of me thinks: 'Let's just relax on the beach chair.'"
One thing is for sure though, you won't catch Lopez overeating.
"I'm not one to overindulge," Lopez said, People reported. "It doesn't make me feel good. Some people find it comforting to sit down and eat a whole pint of Häagen-Dazs, but honestly that would make me throw up. I don't think I've ever eaten that much."
Lopez currently serves on American Idol's thirteenth-season judging panel alongside Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. The show's next episode airs Wednesday night at 8PM ET/PT on Fox.
