American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. have weighed in on the end of American Idol.

"Do I believe that it's really ending? I have not come to terms with that yet," Lopez, 45, told reporters following Tuesday night's performance show, according to People. "I might not."
Lopez added that she's pleased with how Fox didn't wrap up the reality singing competition abruptly.
"I'm glad that we get to have a farewell season -- if that is the case and it will be over next year," she said.
Connick, 47, reminisced American Idol's 14-year run and noted he's thankful to have been part of such a staple on television.
"I've been a fan of this show for a long time and when they asked me to be a mentor a few years back, I was thrilled," Connick told People. "And when they asked me to be a judge I was even more excited because I felt like I was a part of something truly phenomenal and historic."
Connick also called the news "bittersweet."
"I really feel that I'm a part of something on a smaller level for me that is unforgettable," he said.
Lopez served as a judge for Idol's tenth, thirteenth and fourteenth seasons. Connick was beside Lopez on the panel for all of those seasons in addition to Season 12.
