"American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips has been slapped with a $6 million lawsuit from the show's production company for reportedly not paying managerial fees.

Based on a complaint filed Thursday in a New York bankruptcy court, the 11th season winner has not paid $1 million to 19 Entertainment, the producer of the show.

It also claims Phillips may be subject to pay $5 million in additional fees for breaking a slew of agreements, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Phillips has refused and insists that he will continue to refuse to perform pursuant to the Agreements, thereby causing Plaintiffs additional damages," the complaint, from attorneys Willkie Farr & Gallagher, states.

"The amount of the additional damages from these continuing breaches is not presently calculable with precision but will be presented at the time of trial and will exceed $5,000,000."

Phillips reportedly stopped paying 19 Entertainment managerial fees after he filed a formal complaint against the company in 2015, TMZ reported.

At the time, he said his contract with the company violated California law when it "manipulated" him into taking jobs that benefited the company more than him, THR added.

The singer's lawyer reportedly said the bankrupt entertainment company is taking advantage of its bankruptcy status.

"19's new complaint is a blatant attempt to evade California's jurisdiction and thwart its fundamental public policies crafted to protect artists," Phillips' attorney Howard King responded.

"19 cannot murder its parents, then seek mercy as an orphan."
