TV Guide reports that "American Idol" champ Ruben Studdard has agreed to make a singing cameo in "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed," which is currently shooting in Vancouver.

A Warner Bros. representative confirms that Studdard will play himself in the movie. The film will reach theaters in Spring 2004 and stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Linda Cardellini, Freddie Prinze Jr., Matthew Lillard, Alicia Silverstone and Seth Green.
