American Idol is coming to an end Thursday night and Kelly Clarkson will be gracing the stage once again.

Clarkson has had a long career filled with multi-platinum albums, many Top 10 hit singles and three Grammy Awards, but it all started with American Idol's first season.

Clarkson won the show's inaugural season in 2002, beating runner-up Justin Guarini.

The first time Clarkson truly wowed the judges in the reality singing competition was when she performed "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin during the Top 8 broadcast.

Clarkson showed off her cute style, powerful voice, soul and incredible range during the song, especially when she hit a high falsetto note that could probably break glass.
