American Idol's judges deemed the eleventh-season competition a tight race during Wednesday night's performance show, which featured the Top 6 each taking the stage and performing a Queen hit and an additional song of their choice.

Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson gave nearly all positive praise to the remaining finalists following their performances last night and had trouble distinguishing which singers were standouts amongst the rest.

"I hope that you are all lucky and stick around and that nobody goes home," Jackson told American Idol host Ryan Seacrest at the end of the show.

"It's going to be hard to lose any one of them tomorrow," Lopez added.

While the judges didn't necessarily name the best performers of the night, Jackson at least acknowledged the most improved.

"After tonight, they all had some good performances. As I look at them here, [Holly Cavanagh] redeemed herself with that last one. [Elise Testone]'s first performance was stellar -- I don't know. It's a tough call Ryan," he explained.

"Everybody had one good performance -- maybe one wasn't as good as the other -- but everybody had one good performance tonight and it's just about who America loves," Lopez said.

Although it wasn't clear whether Lopez and Jackson agreed, Tyler admitted he was most impressed with Skylar Laine.
