Andi Dorfman fell silent when Bachelor Nation was congratulating her ex-boyfriend and almost-fiance Nick Viall after he was announced as the next The Bachelor star, but now she's spoken her thoughts.

"Congrats, Nick. It's been a long road but you've always been genuine and real about wanting to find love. Now it's your turn! Best of luck," Dorfman tweeted Wednesday night
The pair are definitely on good, or at least cordial terms, because Viall replied on Twitter, "Thanks Andi!"
Viall, a 35-year-old software salesman, finished as Dorfman's runner-up on The Bachelorette's tenth season behind winner Josh Murray, who ultimately proposed to her.
Viall and Dorfman didn't get along for a while because he revealed on After the Final Rose they had slept together in the Fantasy Suite, an admission Dorfman believed was "below the belt" and ungentlemanly.

Because Viall had been a bit of a polarizing character on The Bachelorette -- he was also viewed as arrogant on Kaitlyn Bristowe's edition, and his intentions were questioned -- news he'd be starring on The Bachelor series came as a shock to fans.
Viall was announced as the new Bachelor during Tuesday night's Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise broadcast.
The reaction to Viall's new gig has been very positive for the most part. Even Murray, who is now his rival on Bachelor in Paradise, had something nice to say!
"Despite our differences I am truly happy 4 @viallnicholas28 everyone deserves love and he is no exception - this is your time, go find her!" Murray tweeted.
Viall beat out The Bachelorette fan-favorites Luke Pell and Chase McNary for the role of Season 21's Bachelor.
