Dorfman, who starred on The Bachelorette's tenth season after previously dating and dumping Galavis, wished Ferrell, now 28, a happy birthday via Instagram on Wednesday.
"#wcw and a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my love @nikki_ferrell. Words cannot express how much I love you! We were brought together in the strangest of ways but true friendship can never be broken. You are the strongest girl I know," Dorfman captioned a photo of herself making a kissy face and Ferrell smiling.
"You get put down but you always smile, you always push through. I am so thankful for our friendship and so proud of you for everything you have done and will continue to do. Love you to the moon and back! Cause were the two best friends....."
Ferrell initiated her split from Galavis, 33, according to Us Weekly, after they had "been fighting" since their stint on VH1's Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn.

The breakup "was not mutual," an insider told Us. "Everything Nikki wanted, he didn't. She wanted to settle down and he didn't."
Dorfman, who's engaged to Josh Murray, has already announced Ferrell will be invited to her wedding and maybe even serve as a bridesmaid. When Ferrell was still dating Galavis, Dorfman admitted the former pro soccer player wouldn't be coming.
