Angelina Keeley finished in third place on Survivor: David vs. Goliath during Wednesday night's three-hour finale event of Survivor Season 37 on CBS.

Angelina, a 28-year-old financial consultant from Sparks, NV, who currently resides in San Clemente, CA, lost to the runner-up Mike White, a 47-year-old filmmaker from California as well as the winner, Nick Wilson, a 27-year-old public defender from Kentucky.

Nick won the $1 million grand prize through a 7-3 jury vote over Mike. Angelina unfortunately received zero votes.

Nick received jury votes from Elizabeth Olson, John Hennigan, Dan Rengering, Alec Merlino, Carl Boudreaux, Davie Rickenbacker, and Gabby Pascuzzi.

And Christian Hubicki, Alison Raybould, and Kara Kay cast their votes for Mike to be victorious.

Kara Kay finished the game in fourth place after she lost the fire-starting challenge to Mike. Alison Raybould claimed fifth place, and Davie Rickenbacker placed sixth.

During an exclusive interview with Reality TV World on Thursday, Angelina talked about her Survivor experience. Below is the first half of what she had to say.

Reality TV World: I'm going to cut right to the chase here (Laughs). Why do you think you didn't receive a single jury vote, and were you surprised to not receive a vote from anyone in particular?

Angelina Keeley: Right to it! (Laughs) Right to the heart of it! I appreciate it. So yeah, I wasn't surprised. I knew since the Elizabeth situation that I had major damage control to do -- not only to stay in the game, but then if I was ever lucky enough to get to the end, it was going to be a tough uphill battle.

And so, being an eternal optimist, I convinced myself that maybe if I gave them my arguments and laid it all out, that I would have maybe a glimmer of hope. But I knew it was just a glimmer.

So, even when (laughs) you know there's not a huge shot at it, I'm just proud of myself for still staying in there and trying my best and trying to do whatever I could. But yeah, I was not surprised at the zero votes, and it's just how the cookie crumbled!

Mike and Nick did a great job, and we had a lot of people -- we had a lot of competitors in our season, right? And so, it's like regardless of who made it to the end, it was a tough season. So, no harm and no foul, and I tried my best!

Reality TV World: Say you had to cast a tie-breaker vote at Final Tribal Council like last season, when Laurel Johnson voted for Wendell Holland to win over Domenick Abbate, would you have cast your vote for Nick or Mike? And why?

Angelina Keeley: If I would've had to vote that last night, if I had to cast the tie-breaker, I would lean more towards Mike. And I think a big part of that was I saw a lot more of Mike's agency and sway in the game.

Part of that was a function of working very closely with him and being a co-collaborator on a lot of the moves. So I saw him working his magic and working his persuasion and just being really savvy and socially aware and building strong relationships throughout the game.

Kara and I talked about this, and it's a harder game to represent and it's a harder game to debate at Final Tribal. And so, I was really impressed with his creativity in the game and his savviness, and at that time, a lot of us saw Nick as really, really under-the-radar.

You know, we knew that he had made some good moves and he went on that immunity streak at the end, but Nick was always kind of like, "Okay, yeah, that sounds good for the vote!" He would just kind of walk away and was very agreeable.

But I think that benefited Nick in a lot of ways too. So, they had different strategies, but I think at the time, I appreciated more Mike's hands-on approach. But then in retrospect, watching it back, of course I saw new elements and I respect the hell out of Nick's game now.

So I think if I had to cast my vote now, it would be for Nick. So I have respect for both of them and everyone's gameplay. It was a very tough season.

Reality TV World: When you were trying to convince Nick to take you to the end, you told him that you didn't think anyone left could beat him in the jury vote. Did you really believe that at the time or were you just trying to butter him up?

Angelina Keeley: Both! I mean, you want to butter someone up if you're trying to convince them of anything, but I didn't see that part, so I don't know if it was shown, but I told him that and I also told him, "I think you just won this game today," when he won that third immunity.

And yes, I meant that too. I also meant what I said on that family Reward when I was like, "If I'm going to get to the end and lose, I want to lose to people that I really want to see win and be transformed by winning this game."

And I think Nick of anyone -- I mean, there were so many good stories on this season, a lot of people endured so much hardship -- but, you know, for Nick, it just hits home with everything he's been through and where he comes from.

And so it was special to be a part of that in some way and be along for the ride to watch all of that happen.

Reality TV World: Going back to when you retrieved your idol in that rock wall, did you stop Nick from climbing the ladder because you were worried he might try to keep the idol for himself?

Angelina Keeley: Well, the thing is, the rule is that whoever finds it and whoever touches it first, it's their idol.

Reality TV World: Right!

Angelina Keeley: So when he started going up, (laughs) I was like, "Hey!! What are you doing?!"

Reality TV World: It's like, "I will throw you off that ladder if you take another step." (Laughs)

Angelina Keeley: No, (laughs) I wasn't going to get violent, but you know, he did the gentlemanly thing. I think we all get caught up in moments out there, and I think Nick just got caught up in the moment.

Maybe he thought it was the gentlemanly thing to get it for me, but I knew the rule, and so I was like, "Can I get my idol, please?! (Laughs) So, yeah, it was pretty comical.

That whole thing was pretty interesting, because the clue really was written in a very deceiving way. It said, "Atop the rock behind the well," and so "atop" is not equal to "inside of" or "against" or anything in that realm. And so, language does matter.

I understand they want to be vague, but that was actually very misleading, and so there was actually a reason why I went to the top. It was extremely dangerous. Luckily, I was able to get down okay.

But I mean, my ideal situation would've been finding it alone. If it had not been for that misleading clue, I would've been able to get it alone. It's all good now, but you've got to look back on those small moments and always wonder.
