The embalming process began Friday on body of Anna Nicole Smith, which arrived at the Broward County, Fla., morgue a week ago.
Smith's will did not include burial provisions.
Stern's attorney Krista Barth said a Bahamian court will handle will-related matters. Under Bahamian law, the will's executor, which is Stern, can decide where and how the deceased will be buried.
Since the hearings in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., began, Stern has been in the Bahamas with Smith's daughter, Dannielynn. The three were living in the Bahamas when Smith died Feb. 8 during a trip to Florida.
Ron Rale, another attorney for Stern -- listed on the birth certificate as the child's father -- said Stern is concerned "that someone will attempt to kidnap Dannielynn."Larry Birkhead, one of Smith's ex-boyfriends, claimed he's the child's father and filed a paternity suit in California.
Birkhead filed a petition in Broward County, asking that the baby be brought to Florida for a DNA test to determine paternity.
