Anthony Bourdain had no narcotics in his body at the time of his death earlier this month, a French prosecutor said Friday.

French prosecutor Christian de Rocquigny told The New York Times and USA Today that though there were no narcotics in Bourdain's system, there was non-narcotic medication in therapeutic amounts.
Officials determined there was no foul play involved in his death.
Bourdain first gained global fame after penning the 2000 book "Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly."
His other television shows include "A Cook's Tour" and "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations."Throughout his career, he's been frank about his history of drug abuse.
