Fox's American Idol voted out the ninth of its twelve finalists during last night's results show, with Anthony Fedorov, a 19-year-old from Trevose, PA, being eliminated from the reality talent competition as a result of receiving the fewest audience votes.

Joining Anthony in the week's bottom two vote-getters was Vonzell Solomon, a 20-year-old from Fort Myers, FL. Anthony had also finished in the previous week's bottom two vote-getters, surviving when Scott Savol was instead sent home.
With his departure, Anthony becomes the fifth male Idol 4 finalist to be eliminated, leaving Bo Bice, a 29-year-old from Helena, AL, as the show's sole remaining male finalist.
Anthony joins Scott (Week 8), Constantine Maroulis (Week 7), Anwar F. Robinson (Week 6), Nadia Turner (Week 5), Nikko Smith (Week 4), Jessica Sierra (Week 3), Mikalah Gordon (Week 2), and Lindsey Cardinale (Week 1) as American Idol 4's eliminated finalists.
Next week will see another of Idol's finalists eliminated, with the three remaining contestants once again taking the stage during Tuesday's 8-9PM ET/PT performance show and the identities of the show's Final 2 finalists announced during Wednesday's 9PM ET/PT live results show.
