Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s former girlfriend, The Bachelor alum Selma Alameri, has apparently picked a side in the Arie vs. Jef Holm feud.

Selma, who dated Arie for three months in early 2013, told Us Weekly that she hasn't seen Jef's tweets dissing the new The Bachelor star.
"[But it] wouldn't surprise me if they're negative," admitted Selma, who married attorney Patrick Daniels in 2016.
Jef has had nothing nice to say about his former friend ever since Arie was announced as the Season 22 The Bachelor star in September.
At the time, Jef tweeted that he's no longer friends with Arie because the 36-year-old pro racing driver is "disgusting."

And Jef's latest comments show genuine disdain for Arie -- a surprising notion since the two guys were inseparable when they competed for Emily Maynard's heart on The Bachelorette's eighth season five years ago.
"I believe Jef has been wanting to be the Bachelor for quite some time," Selma told Us, "so I'm sure it kills him to see Arie as the Bachelor rather than himself."
The 33-year-old real estate agent and brunette beauty continued: "And that's not a dig at Jef, but it's just my honest opinion. Sorry Jef, but usually [when] there is negativeness put out there, it comes from jealously."
Following The Bachelor's January 1 premiere, Jef took to Twitter and bashed Arie by writing, "Doesn't matter who gets out of the limo...I'll give 5k to the charity of @chrisbharrison's choice if @ariejr lasts 1 year with anyone."
When Access Hollywood asked why Jef seems so bitter towards him, Arie replied earlier this month, "I have no clue."

"[He's] throwing a lot of shade," Arie had elaborated, "but we haven't talked in four years since [Sean Lowe]'s wedding. I have so much to concentrate on with this and I'm just trying to stay positive. I'm just concentrating on me."
Jef apparently believes Arie and his The Bachelor winner -- or maybe fiancee -- won't make it much longer than he did with Emily. After Emily's The Bachelorette finale aired in July 2012, she and Jef announced their split less than three months later.
But Arie confidently told Entertainment Tonight last week that Jef should expect to lose his own bet.
Selma competed for Sean's heart on The Bachelor's seventeenth season and memorably refused to kiss him due to her strict Muslim upbringing.
She was eliminated from the show when Sean was in the process of narrowing down his group of bachelorettes to six women.

After ending her romance with Arie in 2013, Selma was rumored to have dated the franchise's longtime host Chris Harrison that same year. But other than confessing he's attractive, Selma previously denied such speculation.
