While those decisions were incredibly difficult, Arie -- who has yet to cry on The Bachelor season -- hinted in his People blog that tears are on their way.
"After what was one of the most stressful weeks of my life, I didn't think being The Bachelor could get any crazier. Of course, I was totally wrong," Arie admitted.
Arie said the upcoming February 12 episode of The Bachelor's 22nd season will feature "some of the most dramatic moments yet."

One of those dramatic moments apparently includes a shocking exit that took a real toll on Arie.
"I say goodbye to someone I potentially saw myself with at the end and have my most heart-wrenching goodbye of the season, which caused me to break down," Arie wrote in his blog.
"The excitement and stress mounts because I have just one week left to sort out my feelings and relationships before hometowns."
Arie currently has Seinne Fleming, Jacqueline Trumbull, Becca Kufrin, Bekah Martinez, Lauren Burnham, Tia Booth, and Kendall Long in the running for his heart.
Arie and his remaining group of bachelorettes will be shown traveling to Tuscany, Italy in the next episode, where the women must convince Arie that he should visit their hometowns. Arie will only be able to keep four ladies, and he seems to have a genuine and strong connection with each of them.

"Trust me," Arie insisted, "the decisions are not easy, and you won't want to miss it."
