Ashlee Simpson is returning to reality TV.

E! has announced it has ordered a new docu-reality series starring the actress and singer as well as her husband Evan Ross that will debut later this year.
The show's working title is Ashlee and Evan.
The show will follow Ashlee and Evan, an actor and artist, as they try to balance life as new parents "with a solid foundation of humor and love," according to E!.
Coming from two famous music families, Ashlee and Evan -- who is the son of Diana Ross -- will take viewers inside the recording of their first duet album. Ashlee will cautiously jump back into the music world, while Evan hopes to become a rising star in the industry.

Viewers will witness the young couple face challenges and successes in their marriage and music while receiving support from their longtime friends and families, including Jessica Simpson, who previously starred on Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica among other reality shows.
While working on her debut studio album, Ashlee starred on her first reality series, The Ashlee Simpson Show, from 2004-2005 on MTV. At the time, Ashlee was dating musician Ryan Cabrera.
In 2006, Ashlee became romantically involved with Fall Out Boy member Pete Wentz. They got engaged in April 2008 and tied the knot the following month. Two weeks after the wedding, Ashlee announced she was pregnant, and the former couple welcomed a son in November of that year.
Ashlee and Pete, however, split in 2011, which was the same year she released her fourth studio album.
Ashlee began dating Evan in 2013, with the couple marrying in August 2014. Months later, the couple announced they were expecting a child, and in July 2015, they welcomed a baby girl.

Ashlee and Evan is being produced by Citizen Jones and Cinema Giants with Ashlee, Evan, Jonah Bekhor, Jonas Bell Pasht, Jessy Terrero, and Angela Aguilera serving as executive producers.
