After Dancing with the Stars' finale, The Bachelorette's seventh season will air Mondays at 8PM ET/PT.
"I'm very open-minded, so I don't want to say I want this, this and this -- I just want to see what happens," Hebert told Jimmy Kimmel about the qualities she is looking for in her perfect match during a Monday night Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance in which her The Bachelorette role was announced.
Hebert was one of the final three bachelorettes in the running for the heart of fifteenth-season The Bachelor star Brad Womack. However, after going on one-on-one overnight fantasy dates with each of his final three women, Womack came to believe that their individual lives were unlikely to mesh together well given the 26-year-old dental student's personal and career goals.

"I can promise you as of [February 27] I was with the creator of the show, Mike Fleiss, and when I left him in the wee hours of the morning we did not have a Bachelorette picked. We don't make a decision right away because we really leave a lot up to our fans and viewers," Harrison told TV Guide earlier this month.
According to Hebert, who is set to complete dental school this spring, her selection was only finalized recently.
"I was approached a little while back [and] I found out for certain very recently," she told Kimmel.
During her interview, Hebert also told Kimmel that her dental school commitments -- which she recently told Reality TV World were "the No. 1 thing in my life" -- have resulted in her not dating much the last few years.
"I've been single for almost four years," she said.
"You have? How many dates have you gone on in those four years?" Kimmel asked.

"Real dates? Not many... I don't know, five," she replied. "I'm excited, I'm [going to be] making up for lost time!"
