Ashley Iaconetti admits it was tough to separate herself from The Bachelor's romantic and fantasy-filled premise.

The Bachelor star Chris Soules eliminated Iaconetti during a two-on-one date with Kelsey Poe because he didn't think her personality was the right fit for life on a small-town Iowa farm. He was apparently right, but Iaconetti was oblivious to that fact while vying for his heart.

"When you are in that environment, your complete focus is on Chris," Iaconetti said during a Tuesday appearance on Good Morning America.

She clarified, however, that The Bachelor is not more about competition than romance.

"I really did have strong feelings for him and I was really attracted to him. And then you separate yourself from the situation and you're like, 'Okay, let's be real. Could I really survive on the farm?' Yeah I could. But would I be happy?" Iaconetti continued.

Still, Iaconetti bawled when Soules ousted her, and it was for a couple reasons.

"I'm just an emotional person. I cry all the time. That was really dramatic. I don't know. That's kind of me when I cry. It's just ugly," she confessed. "I was shocked at the fact that, in the moment, I thought [Chris] was picking Kelsey over me. But at the same time, I would've been flipping out upset either way."

The 26-year-old nanny and freelance reporter from Wayne, NJ, often referred to herself as a "princess" this season. She loved getting dolled up and always had thick eyelashes and lipstick on. During an overnight camping group date early on, Iaconetti didn't exactly appear to be in her element.

"[Chris] loves the farm!" Iaconetti noted, insisting that Soules will definitely remain living in Arlington once his The Bachelor journey ends. "Yeah, it's really cute to listen to him talk about it. He loves it."

Iaconetti apparently didn't view Poe as much of a threat when she learned the two of them would be facing off for Soules' only rose on the two-on-one date in the Badlands.

"It was way more awkward than the TV show," Iaconetti told GMA, "the helicopter ride especially."

Iaconetti warned Soules that Poe was fake and disliked by the other bachelorettes. Some viewers assumed whether Iaconetti's desire to talk about drama during her alone time with the Bachelor is what got her sent home.

"I don't think my decision to tell Chris about Kelsey had anything to do with me getting the rose," Iaconetti explained. "I think he was right. I'm probably not fit for the farm, but I really did feel like I had to be the spokesperson for the girls at home. So, I'm kind of glad I did it... I completely took one for the team."

With The Women Tell All taping next week, Iaconetti admitted she might confront Poe again but it depends on what happens during the one-hour Chris Tells All special that's airing Sunday, February 15 on ABC.

"I am so excited to go and see my friends, and then in the back of my mind, I'm like, 'But Kelsey is going to be there,' and you know, I have no idea how we're going to react to each other. But I do know that I should probably have the support of the other girls, which is good," Iaconetti said.

"There's that little segment at the end of the next episode where Kelsey has already sat down with Chris Harrison. I'm going to play it by ear on how I respond to her based on how she talks to him."
