Bachelor in Paradise 2's premiere definitely didn't disappoint, as there were already makeout sessions, steamy ocean jaunts and cast members pairing up on the first day in Sayulita, Mexico.

After a few cast-member introductions, Sunday night's episode on ABC began with former bachelors and bachelorettes entering paradise one by one to meet and mingle.

Ashley Iaconetti revealed her beautiful sister Lauren Iaconetti would be appearing on the show with her. Ashley I. called her "the slut version" of herself, because Lauren definitely isn't a virgin.

Tanner Tolbert was excited to see Tenley Molzahn and Samantha Steffen, but he was anticipating meeting Jade Roper the most. Jade wanted to stay away from the drama this season and hopefully find a connection. Similarly, Jared Haibon was looking to get over Kaitlyn Bristowe by potentially starting a new relationship.

Meanwhile, Jillian Anderson couldn't wait to show off her new breast implants. Jonathan Holloway ended up saying she looked really sexy.

When Jade first greeted Jared in paradise, she got butterflies. Jared was taken with Jade as well, but so was Tanner, Jonathan, and pretty much every other guy that entered paradise on Day 1. It was obviously to the girls Jade was like the prize to be won.

When the group saw Lauren I. would be part of the season, no one was really happy except the guys. Tenley and Jade said her participation wasn't fair, but Jonathan pointed out that Lauren I. was "delicious," and no guy would have a problem with sisters being on the show.

Ashley I. was expected the guys to gravitate towards her sister, who didn't really care if Bachelor Nation was going to label her a "wrong reasons person." Lauren I. made it clear she was on the show to party, flirt and have fun. Mikey Tenerelli was interested in Lauren I. right off the bat.

Mikey escorted her to the beach, where they frolicked and splashed one another. Mikey was very aggressive, and Jared pointed out it was a good move because he took Lauren I. away from the rest of potential suitors. Jade told the cameras Lauren I. was not the type of girl a guy would want to marry.

Carly Waddell thought Tanner was gorgeous and Kirk DeWindt was really cute. However, she seemed to click with Kirk almost immediately. The couple seemed to have a similar sense of humor. 

As for Ashley I., she was really feeling Jared -- and only Jared -- but she was worried most of the other girls would be into him too.

When Dan Cox arrived, he didn't really make a splash. However, he seemed intrigued by Ashley Salter, who quickly made it known she was more excited about the parrots on the island than she was about the guys.

And then JJ Lane showed up, and no one cheered. The girls agreed he was cocky and arrogant, but it didn't seem to take long for him to become one with the group.

Host Chris Harrison then greeted the bunch as a whole and informed them the gentlemen will be handing out roses this week. In a special twist, if either Ashley I. or Lauren I. received a rose, both sisters would be safe as sort of a package deal. Tenley said it was like one sister would get a free ride through paradise, which wasn't cool.

Chris H. then took the group of bachelors and bachelorettes to an undisclosed location for a "special" event. Most of the cast members assumed there was going to be a Rose Ceremony right off the bat, but instead, everyone soon witnessed Bachelor in Paradise Season 1's Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul getting married.

Marcus made everyone cry during the beach ceremony when he said he didn't have trouble writing his vows because he couldn't think of things to promise his bride, but rather, he still felt like he didn't deserve her. In the end, Juelia Kinney caught Lacy's bouquet of flowers.

After the wedding, Lauren I. started crying for no reason. She told her sister she was just overwhelmed and wanted to be left alone. The other cast members joked that being emotional must be a genetic trait in their family. When Lauren I. went to bed, Ashley I. pursued Jared -- sort of.

Ashley I. sat on the beach next to Jared but completely froze up. She didn't know what to say and later said in a confessional she had made a fool of herself. However, she was able to stomach one statement in which she told Jared she loved Princess Jasmine. While Ashley I. thought she had solidified things with Jared, he wasn't even interested.

Meanwhile, Carly had gone off with Kirk for a while. People noticed the two were already an item, and Carly felt like she was in high school again. Kirk was surprised he had found an emotional and physical connection with someone so quickly. Carly made the first move to kiss Kirk although it was clear Kirk wanted to but was just nervous.

Jared then asked Jade if she'd like to get her feet wet with him. Jade asked him if he had leftover feelings for Kaitlyn, and he didn't exactly deny it. But Jared took a liking to Jade, telling her that she appeared sweet, honest and nice. Ashley I. was having an awful time watching Jade and Jared hit it off.

Dan initially liked Jade, but upon seeing her connection with Jared, he went after Ashley S. It also soon became apparent that Lauren I. did not reciprocate Mikey's feelings.

Ashley I. got the first date card in paradise. She had to pick someone to "get dirty with," and there was no option in her eyes other than Jared. But she could tell Jared seemed standoffish around her, so she was extremely nervous to ask him to join her.

JJ told the cameras that Jared looked like "he'd rather take a back-alley beating with a plumber's wrench than go on the date" with Ashley I. However, as the gentleman he is, Jared accepted her invitation. Jade was a little bummed out Jared accepted the date and hoped they wouldn't have too much fun together.

Ashley I. noted in a confessional that if Jared ended up being her "Aladdin," he could "rub the sh-t out of her lamp" any day.  

While Jared and Ashley I. went off-roading through the jungle, Tanner made his move on Jared -- even though he confessed to cameras he couldn't see a good guy like Jared dating Ashley I.

The next date card then arrived in paradise, and it was for Jade. Jared had just returned from his date with Ashley I., so she had to decide between him and Tanner. Jared was her first choice, but she ended up selecting Tanner because it seemed like Jared had a great time with Ashley I., which he did.

Jared thought Ashley I. was cool and he wanted to get to know her more, but in the back of his mind, he was still smitten with Jade.

For their date, Jade and Tanner enjoyed dinner and drinks on a private area of a nearby beach. Jade felt an instant chemistry with Tanner, and he called her "a 10 on the physical attractiveness scale." She felt no judgement from him about her Playboy past, and they seemed to engage in a really easy conversation.

Tanner felt lucky to have been chosen by Jade, and he had butterflies.

The couple kissed and there was a definite connection. Tanner owned up to feeling more for Jade in one night than he had for Kaitlyn over the course of an entire season. Jade then asked Tanner to take a dip in the river. They madeout in the water, but Jade explained she had a deeper connection with Tanner than just the physical.

Back in paradise, Ashley S. was taken out of the villa on a stretcher and placed in an ambulance. It has yet to be revealed what happened to Ashley S., but like a knight in shining armor, Dan sat by her side in the ambulance.

By the end of the first night, everyone was pretty much paired off. Clare Crawley then entered the scene, admitting to cameras she wasn't afraid to "ruffle feathers" in order to find love. She said "game on" and had her heart set on getting acquainted with Tanner, Kirk and Jared.

Bachelor in Paradise 2's next episode airs Monday night at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
