Serena and Joe are currently deep into their weddings plans, with the help of wedding planner Christina Janda.
The New York-based couple will be tying the knot at The Cedar Room in Charleston, SC.
During the May 18 episode of the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast, Joe -- a co-host of the podcast -- answered listeners' questions about his wedding.
When asked to reveal which part of the wedding he's most excited about, Joe revealed that he's looking forward to exchanging personal, self-written vows with Serena.
"I think the vows are going to be special and I think they're going to be fun," Joe shared.
"That, in my opinion, is going to be where I am the most nervous... I'm excited and nervous for them. But once those are over, it's like, 'Alright, let's go have a party!' Because that's what we're all doing. We're there to have fun... It's going to be great, can't wait!"
Joe also has yet to purchase a gift for his bride to open on the morning of their wedding.
"I didn't know we had to get each other gifts," Joe sheepishly admitted.
"We have to get each other gifts for a wedding?! I know we're exchanging rings. I guess that's something I'll have to talk to Serena about. But as of now, I don't have anything in mind that I'm getting her. But I mean, I guess I'll get her a gift."
But Joe noted how he and Serena will be going on a honeymoon to Italy, adding, "That's going to be a lot of fun, so maybe we'll get each other gifts out there."

As far as their wedding hashtag goes, Joe said he doesn't think that's "still a thing," and so the couple doesn't have one.
Joe and Serena also apparently never checked in with fellow Bachelor in Paradise couples to make sure their weddings wouldn't overlap or be planned for the same weekend.
"That's actually a great question," Joe replied.
"No. At least we didn't. None of us are getting married on the same day, but there are a lot of Bachelor Nation weddings, mostly Paradise couples, who will be getting married all around the same time, and yeah, none of us checked with each other. Maybe some who are closer did? We did not, but luckily none are getting married on the same day."
The Bachelor in Paradise couples tying the knot this year are Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert, Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour, and Mari Pepin and Kenny Braasch.
Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs are also currently planning their wedding, but they have yet to share their date. The couple is also expecting their first child, which may delay their nuptials.
Before Joe and Serena's big day, they'll be celebrating their bachelor/bachelorette parties in Las Vegas, "even though it's a little cliche," according to The Bachelor alum.

In addition, Joe disclosed that pro dancer Alan Bersten, whom Joe met during his stint on Dancing with the Stars, wants to choreograph a big dance moment for the newlyweds at their wedding.
"I don't know if I'm going to let him, but he will be at my bachelor party," Joe said. "Maybe I'll talk to him about it there."
While Joe was open and honest about his wedding plans, he declined to answer a question about whether he and Serena will be doing a first look or seeing each other for the first time at the altar.
"I actually do know the answer to this, but I do not feel comfortable saying right now," Joe coyly said. "You will have to wait to find out. I would tell you, but I'm pretty sure Serena doesn't want that information out there."

Joe and Serena, who fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise's seventh season in 2021, revealed in January how their wedding must-haves include good food, drinks and music.
In November 2022, Joe and Serena said they had no desire to televise their wedding and share it with Bachelor Nation fans.
Joe looked at Serena in a YouTube video and said, "Anything in this world can change, but I highly doubt it."
The pair had initially intended to keep their first wedding a secret and only share the news with close family and friends, but a person apparently spotted them at the courthouse and so Serena and Joe were worried the story may get leaked.
Serena and Joe therefore posted a sweet video of their union on Instagram late last year, announcing their marriage in their own special way.
The Bachelor in Paradise 7 finale, which featured Joe's marriage proposal to Serena, aired in October 2021.
Serena told Us Weekly in September 2022 that she'd love to marry Joe exactly one year later -- even though she believed wedding venues would be limited -- and so she's going to achieve her goal.

"Joe will start off saying, 'Whatever you want,' but he is an opinionated guy. He has a vision for the wedding, for sure," Serena shared in September.
"I think it's actually gonna be very 50/50. I want it to feel like our wedding, not my wedding. And if anything, I would say he's probably more opinionated than I am about this stuff... It'll be a team effort."
As far as her wedding gown goes, Serena didn't have a dream dress in mind as of last year.
"I think once we see the venue and where we pick to get married, I'll be able to start envisioning a mood board for the dress and the hair and the makeup," Serena explained.
"But I don't wanna, like, look or feel like anyone else on that day. You know, I love my neutral, glowy bronzed makeup and that's probably what I'm gonna do on my wedding day even though that's what I do every day because that's what I love."
She added, "For my wedding dress, I want it to be comfortable. If I have to wear it all night, I want to be comfortable in it."
Serena and her fiance celebrated their engagement party in July 2022, and that's when their parents met each other.
Serena and Joe believe they established a strong relationship foundation while filming Bachelor in Paradise.
Serena, for instance, never let the fact Joe's ex-girlfriend of nearly two years, Kendall Long, was on the beach get in the way of her connection with Joe.
Serena kept her eye on the prize, avoided jealousy, and trusted Joe as Kendall sought closure.
Prior to appearing on Bachelor in Paradise 7, Joe got eliminated very early from Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette and met Kendall on Season 5 of Paradise.

Joe gave Los Angeles a chance during and after his stint on Dancing with the Stars in 2018 and wanted to move back to Chicago to be with his friends and family, but Kendall apparently wouldn't even consider relocating and trying out a life in Chicago. (Kendall is now engaged and living with her fiance in Germany).
And Serena dumped Matt James on his The Bachelor season that aired in early 2021 after her hometown date.
