Bachelor in Paradise couple Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk have revealed they are "definitely working on" starting a family and are ready for a baby.

"We're definitely working on a family. Hopefully, sooner than later, that would be great," Raven, 29, told Us Weekly in a joint interview with Adam, 31.

Raven shared how she and Adam have "major baby fever" less than two months after tying the knot.

Raven and Adam got married on April 16 at a 40-acre estate called The Olana in Dallas in front of only 20 vaccinated family members after dating for four years and postponing three weddings due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"I think we agreed [that] we'd like two or three [kids]. But Adam has said, you know, we'll see how I do with two and then go from there," Raven said.

The pair, however, couldn't predict which parent will be more strict with their children.

"Oh, man, this is tough," Adam admitted. "I'm probably going to be the tougher parent at first and then it's going to change when we have more to you."

And Raven agreed, "I think you're right. I think in the beginning it'll be you, and then it will change to me."

Raven and Adam fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise's fourth season in 2017 and then got engaged in June 2019.

"There was no pressure for us to stay together. I think a lot of people, honestly, in Bachelor Nation kind of forgot about us in a way," Raven said.

"We weren't highlighted as, like, the 'it couple,' which was really good for us, because there was no pressure. It wasn't everyone checking in to see if we were still engaged or wedding planning or anything like that."

When looking back on their journey to the altar, Adam called it "surreal."

"I tell everyone all the time, it feels like we've been married already for a long time," Adam shared with the magazine, adding that he "can't believe" it's been four years since they fell in love on The Bachelor spinoff that was filmed in Mexico.

"So much has even changed since then... Everything to do with [our] lives, family and the whole franchise. And there's more success stories coming out of it."

Adam continued, "Before people were, like, skeptical about what their potential outcome could be and now it's, like, so exciting to see so many awesome couples come out of it."

After getting engaged, Raven and Adam initially scheduled their wedding for May 30, 2020.

"I've replanned the wedding three times now," Raven told Us in August 2020. "So I just totally stopped. I'm like, 'I'm not doing this anymore.'"

Raven didn't clarify at the time whether she and Adam had actually set and rescheduled several wedding dates or if her plans were just changed and altered.

"I told Adam by December [2020], if there is no end in sight, we're just going to elope and get married by ourselves, in our house. And if there is a light at the end of the tunnel by December, then we'll schedule this wedding for the fourth time," Raven previously explained.

"You know what? If we accidentally get pregnant along the way [to the wedding], that's totally fine. I have baby fever, but Adam has extreme baby fever. He is read-y. He is ready."

Prior to appearing on Bachelor in Paradise, Raven competed to win Nick Viall's heart on The Bachelor's 21st season and finished as the runner-up.

For Adam's part, he competed for Rachel Lindsay's heart on The Bachelorette's thirteenth season in Spring 2017 before his BIP stint on Season 4.

"The franchise gives you the stage for you to fall in love in and then it's up to you to continue that once the lights and cameras are off," Adam said.

"And so, I think it gives you a better opportunity to do so [if you don't get engaged]. And I mean, here we are. So, I think everything turned out perfectly. It worked out for us!"

The Bachelorette's seventeenth season starring Katie Thurston is set to premiere Monday, June 7 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

Bachelor in Paradise's upcoming seventh edition is scheduled to debut Monday, August 16 at 8PM ET/PT on the network.
