Bachelor in Paradise debuted with several couples forming in Mexico and Tia Booth reuniting with Colton Underwood during Tuesday night's two-hour episode of Season 5 on ABC.

Kendall Long said she's "so ready" for love although it took her time to get over Arie, and Kenny Layne said he was ready to bring the right woman into his daughter's life.
Kevin Wendt admitted he thought he could marry his ex, Ashley Iaconetti, from The Bachelor Winter Games but then Jared Haibon "flipped the switch" and suddenlty wanted to date her.
"If you kiss another guy while you're dating someone else, it's cheating in my book. That really hurt me," Kevin said in a confessional, adding that he was interested in meeting Krystal Nielson.
Meanwhile, Krystal said she'd make the perfect wife because she can cook and she's also an entrepreneur and a dog mom.
Chris Randone then discussed how he regretted saying and doing things out of insecurity on Becca's season. He said he has so much more to offer in Paradise and is really a nice guy deep down.

David Ravitz revealed he moved back home with his mom in Boca Raton, FL, after Becca's season, and Jordan Kimball noted he just wanted a woman to drink a glass of white wine with on the couch. Jordan was hoping to see Annaliese Puccini in Paradise because he thought she was really cute.
Bibiana Julian was also feisty as ever, saying if her butt in a bikini gets blurred out on-camera, she's "doing something right."
And Wills Reid was excited to look for love again. He planned to loosen up a lot more in Paradise and be fun and outspoken.
And then of course there was Tia, who said Colton was an absolute sweetheart and she had feelings for him right away when they dated before Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor began airing.

After Tia entered Paradise, Eric Bigger came in next, followed by Kendall, Jordan, Bibiana, Joe Amabile, Wills, Chelsea Roy, Chris, and Krystal.

"This place is as beautiful as me," Jordan said with a big smile, later admitting, "When I say Bibiana, my mouth waters, so I like that."
Kendall was drawn to Joe, saying she couldn't believe Becca didn't give him a rose on Night 1.
Meanwhile, Tia, Bibiana and Kendall prepared themselves for Krystal rubbing salt in old wounds. Tia had a feeling Krystal was going to be into the same guy as one of them, and sure enough, Krystal seemed immediately interested in Joe, who had peaked Kendall's attention.
Likewise, Joe was very attracted to Krystal, and she thought he seemed very down to earth. Joe reminded her of solid, humble men from her home state of Montana, and of course Kendall was annoyed, saying she wrongly assumed Krystal had changed since Arie's The Bachelor season.
Kevin, Nick Spetsas, and John Graham then arrived in Paradise, and Kendall found herself attracted to too many men. She liked John, saying she's "a sucker for nerds."

John was taken by Angela's beauty right off the bat, while Jordan's "mind was blown" by Annaliese's sweet personality and good looks.
Jordan wanted Annaliese to know he wasn't playing around and he was serious about finding a partner, and once they had a conversation, she could tell there was a lot more to Jordan than just a Zoolander type of model.
Once David and Jordan reunited in Paradise, there was definitely tension between them, but they just calmly shook hands and went their separate ways.
Tia soon realized Colton was not coming that day, and she questioned whether he would even appear on the show. After all, Colton hadn't reached out to her after she showed up on Becca's season of The Bachelorette.
Chris Harrison then dropped by to inform the cast that each week, there would be Bachelor-style dates. If someone receives a Date Card, he or she can choose someone to go out with. Like in seasons past, the men and women would alternate handing out roses at subsequent Rose Ceremonies this season.

As for the first week in Paradise, the women were safe because they would be offering roses to the guys. By the end of the first day, there were 10 guys and nine girls at the resort.
Tia was then shown having a nice conversation with Joe, who could see himself pursuing her, but Colton was on her mind and Joe could tell she wasn't over him.
Much to her own shock and dismay -- because Colton wasn't there -- Tia received the first Date Card of the summer and confessed it was "worst case scenario" because she didn't really want to explore any other relationships.
Tia went to Mexico to hopefully find lasting love with Colton, so she was really upset. However, she didn't want to leave Mexico with any regrets, so she began thinking about herself and what she wants and asked out Chris.
Tia was pleasantly surprised by Chris because she found their conversation easy. She began to actually look forward to the date.

Joe was disappointed Tia asked Chris out, but then he moved on to Kendall, whom he considered "sweet, funny and attractive." Joe and Kendall watched a storm roll in, and Kendall soon discovered Joe was "awkward, silly and charming." They laughed together on a daybed and then shared a kiss.
"Let me process this right now: Joe, not the guy for me," Krystal said.
By the first night in Paradise, there were already some couples pairing up -- Annaliese and John, David and Angela, and Kendall and Joe.
Meanwhile, Krystal found herself being interested in Kevin's look with his muscles, tattoos and long hair. Kevin told Krystal that she had been his No. 1 pick going into Paradise because he was attracted to both her appearance and her lifestyle.
The couple then snuck off for a little makeout session, and Krystal gushed about how Kevin has "pillow lips" and is "a real man."
Nick was sitting with Chelsea at this point, and he called her "a snack." The fact she has a child back at home didn't bother him.
Nick asked Chelsea if she wanted to makeout with him, however, she said she felt sick and would rather go to bed. Nick was disappointed and frustrated, as he assumed Chelsea's response was a way of blowing him off and rejecting him.

Tia and Chris then went on the first date in Paradise, and she said she was focusing on him and their date because she felt an immediate connection with him.
Chris was a little wary of Tia's past with Colton and whether there was still steam to that relationship, but Tia assured her date of Colton, "If something was going to happen with us, I feel like it would have already happened."
Knowing Tia's relationship with Colton was behind her, Chris was fully engaged in Tia and excited to see where things could go between them. They were both looking for a serious partner and someone to leave Paradise with, and Tia was thrilled they were on the same page.
"I came here to have an open heart and an open mind, and I feel like Chris has allowed me to do that. I didn't expect to feel this way about anyone. I feel a little tingly in [my heart]. I came into this with this idea of finding my person, but I never really considered the fact it could happen, especially on the first day," Tia told the cameras as footage aired of the pair kissing.

The next day in Paradise, Tia and Chris were acting like a couple, kissing in front of other people. But then Colton showed up!

Colton admitted to Chris Harrison he came to Mexico to make a connection with Tia or another woman. He was open to meeting any girl that could be a great match for him.
When Tia saw Colton, she immediately became nervous, and she hoped he would ask her on a date so they could have a conversation and pursue things or at least gain closure. But Colton pulled Kendall aside to chat first, and everyone was "alarmed" he basically just ignored Tia.
Kendall asked Colton to be sensitive to Tia's feelings, and she also warned him that she had already been on a date with Chris.
Colton -- who wanted to clear the air with Tia -- then spoke to Angela and found her very genuine. Chelsea and Bibiana didn't understand Colton's strategy, and they said his behavior was a red flag.
Colton then asked Tia on a date, and she was looking forward to figuring out whether there was still a spark between them and he had any leftover feelings for her.
Chris saw great potential in his romance with Tia and worried Colton was just playing games with her and using her, but Colton and Tia were getting along well on their date, as they went boating on a yacht.
Colton had no intention of closing the door on Tia, but he also wasn't giving her a definitive answer on whether he wanted to take their relationship seriously.
"I took my initial feelings for Tia and invested them into somebody else. So now, with Tia, I'm not really sure what's there," Colton told the cameras.
After Colton opened up to Tia about how he had fallen in love with Becca Kufrin, the pair went jetskiing together, and Tia gushed about how she had been waiting for this moment -- to hold onto this "big, sexy man" -- for about six months.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with Chris confronting Colton once Tia returned from her date and Jordan saying he'd have Chris' back in the situation.
