Bachelor in Paradise's initial Season 9 cast of former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette alums has been unveiled by ABC.

Eighteen bachelors and bachelorettes will be shown arriving on the beach and beginning their search for love when Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season premieres on ABC with a two-hour episode on Thursday, September 28 at 8PM ET/PT.

As in prior Bachelor in Paradise seasons, many additional Bachelor Nation bachelors and bachelorettes will arrive on the beach in Mexico as the season progresses -- including presumably more men from Charity Lawson's The Bachelorette season, which just aired its finale on ABC earlier this week.

However Charity's former suitors will also comprise five of the seven bachelors in Bachelor in Paradise's initial Season 9 cast, with Brayden Bowers, Aaron Bryant, Peter Cappio, Sean McLaughlin, and Aaron Schwartzman all hitting the beach alongside the season's eleven initial bachelorettes.

The two remaining initial bachelors will be Blake Moynes and Will Urena.

Blake got engaged to The Bachelorette star Katie Thurston at the conclusion of the show's seventeenth season but the couple split up and ended their engagement only a couple of months after it was televised on ABC in August 2021.  However prior to that, Blake also competed for the hearts of both Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams on Season 16 of The Bachelorette in 2020.

Will's The Bachelorette experience is less extensive by comparison. He competed for the heart of The Bachelorette star Michelle Young on the show's eighteenth season which aired on ABC in late 2021 and Michelle sent him home at her fourth Rose Ceremony after he clashed with fellow Season 18 bachelor Peter Izzo, a self-described "pizzapreneur."

Will and Peter's feud then continued on the season's The Men Tell All special, however, when Peter claimed he was suing Will for "defamation of character" for allegedly writing negative online reviews about Peter's pizzeria business.

Similarly to the men, eight of the eleven bachelorettes in Bachelor in Paradise's initial Season 9 cast will be from the 2023 season of The Bachelor which starred Zach Shallcross and aired on ABC earlier this year.

The eight women from Season 27 of The Bachelor will be: Greer Blitzer, Jessica "Jess" Girod, Katherine "Kat" Izzo, Olivia Lewis, Mercedes Northup, Kylee Russell, Brooklyn Willie, and Catherine "Cat" Wong.

The three remaining initial Bachelor in Paradise bachelorettes will be Eliza Isichei, Samantha "Sam" Jeffries, and Rachel Recchia.

After initially appearing on Season 26 of The Bachelor which starred Clayton Echard, Rachel co-starred on Season 19 of The Bachelorette alongside Gabby Windey in 2022.

Rachel got engaged to Tino Franco at her Final Rose Ceremony, however she ended the engagement before the season's finale even aired on ABC after she discovered Tino had cheated on her only weeks after he had proposed.

Eliza and Sam also competed for Clayton's heart on Season 26 of The Bachelor in 2022. While Sam failed to receive a rose at The Bachelor season's initial Rose Ceremony and went home on Night 1, Eliza was eliminated at Clayton's sixth Rose Ceremony in which he determined his Final 7 bachelorettes.

Eliza then appeared on Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise later last year where she ended up at the center of a love triangle with Justin Glaze and Rodney Mathews

The triangle appeared to initially reach its conclusion when Eliza gave her rose to Rodney and sent Justin Glaze packing at the Bachelor in Paradise season's fourth Rose Ceremony.

However, while Rodney felt relief and thought Justin's exit meant Eliza was going to be his future wife, Eliza woke up crying the next morning believing she had made a mistake and her heart belonged to Justin.

Eliza then broke Rodney's heart and quit the show to fly to Baltimore, MD and ask Justin for a second chance.

But Justin then rejected Eliza's attempt to reconcile, saying he wanted to be with somebody who was sure about him, resulting in Eliza returning home single.

ABC aired a preview of Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season during the finale of Charity's The Bachelorette season on August 21.

During the sneak peek video of Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise, Jesse said in a voiceover, "Get ready for a wild time on the beach -- sexy dates and four former Bachelorettes crashing the party. Plus, someone has a serious medical emergency."

Jesse added, "Who will find their soul mate? Who will leave in tears? And who will decide to get MARRIED in Paradise?!"

According to ABC, Katie, Charity, and Season 15 star Hannah Brown will be the three other former The Bachelorette stars who will appear -- only in a guest appearance capacity, presumably -- on Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise.

Last month, spoilers surfaced revealing some of what happened and which couples left together when Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season was filmed in Mexico in June.
